Adding VPN Connection to Windows 10

Navigate to Settings → Network & Internet

Choose VPN from left side menu

Click "+" to Add a VPN Connection

VPN Provider → Windows (built-in)

Connection name → PTS VPN

Server name or address →

VPN Type → Point to Point Tunneling Protocol (PPTP)

Type of sign-in info → Username and password

Username → pts-eden\firstname.lastname

Password → users PTS password

Adding VPN Connection to macOS

Navigate to System Preferences

Choose Network from available options

Click "+" in lower left corner

Interface → VPN

VPN Type → L2TP over ISPec

Service Name → PTS VPN

Configuration → Default

Server Address →

Account Name → pts-eden\firstname.lastname

Click Authentication Settings

User Authentication → users PTS password

Machine Authentication (Shared Secret) → **you'll need to contact the Help Desk ( for this information

Click OK

Click Advanced

Under Options → click the check box for "Send all traffic over VPN connection" - - this step must be completed otherwise you'll receive a false positive for the connection
