Outlook has the capability to forward all incoming email to a different address. This article will explain how to complete this process. 


PC

  1. Open Outlook
  2. From the top left corner, choose "File"
  3. From the displayed menu, click "Manage Rules & Alerts"
  4. A new window will open, click "New Rule"
  5. Under "Start from a Blank Rule", select "Apply Rule on Messages I Receive" then click "Next"
  6. Select the desired conditions then click "Next"
  7. The following window will display options on what to do with the message, select "Forward it to People or Public Group"
    1. Be sure to edit the rule by clicking on the linked "forward it to people of public group" to assign the email address to receive this forward
  8. Click "Finish" when complete 


macOS

  1. Open Outlook
  2. From the icons across the top of the window, select "Rules"
  3. Choose "Edit Rules"
  4. A new windows will appear, click the "+" symbol in the lower left corner
  5. Name the rule
  6. From the first dropdown box, select "All Messages"
  7. From the second dropdown box, select "Forward To' then type the address you'd like messages forwarded to
  8. Click "OK"


Web Mail

  1. Open web browser and navigate to mail.ptsem.edu
  2. Sign in with firstname.lastname as username and your specific password
  3. From the top right corner, select "Options"
  4. From the dropdown menu, select "Create an Inbox Rule"
  5. From this page, click "New"
  6. A new window will appear and from the first dropdown box, select "Apply to All Messages"
  7. From the second dropdown box, select "Redirect the Message To"
  8. In the "To →" field, type the address you'd like the messages forwarded to
  9. Click "OK"
  10. Select "Save"
