Students need to be aware of the free Unicode fonts for Hebrew and Greek developed by the Society of Biblical Literature. Their font download page has information on downloading keyboards that will allow easy entry of these characters.
How to Install Fonts Locally on Your Own Computer:
Windows
Select the "Font Download" Link and follow the prompts to install the Font.
Mac
Once you download the fonts to your desktop, double click on them. A window will pop up showing you the font. In that window on the bottom right hand corner click install. (NOTE: Some fonts will not work in 10.4 to 10.5—you will be notified when installing if these fonts are compatible.)
